You know us. At SANY, we’re all about creating fully loaded machines that have everything workers need to do tough jobs and do them well. So, when it came to presenting our machines on the world stage in Las Vegas, NV, it’s no wonder that we went all-out.
Every three years, folks in construction, machine manufacturing and more gather for ConExpo-Con/Agg, one of the largest professional trade shows in the world and the largest trade show in North America. Over 2,000 exhibitors, including the largest OEMs in the world, take the opportunity to show off their machines to the media, wow potential buyers and give the crowd a sneak peek of what’s to come. This year’s ConExpo wrapped up in mid-March, and SANY America launched an incredible exhibition that got people talking. We’re here to walk you through some highlights.
This year, SANY America’s theme was Made for America, Raised in Georgia, a nod to our Peachtree City-based factory headquarters. SANY aimed to show the ConExpo crowd just what goes into a SANY machine, with a little Southern hospitality on the side.
ConExpo wouldn’t be ConExpo without machines, and SANY came prepared. Of the 30 incredible machines that were brought to the show, 17 of them were entirely brand new. Ranging from the smallest of mini excavators to towering cranes, our lineup was certainly impressive. One of the new machines was also our biggest machine yet, the SY750H excavator. Weighing in at a whopping 75 tons, it showed that SANY’s ready to punch above its weight class.
But as you know, SANY’s more than just machines. The exhibition also hosted demonstrations, meetings and even a meet-and-greet with Diesel Dave of the reality show Diesel Brothers. We even hosted a special Dealer’s Day event to celebrate our dealer network. With a swanky tent serving coffee and cocktails over an engine block as SANY’s base of operations, patrons were given the fully loaded treatment.
SANY also delivered in the field of innovation, starting with our electric-powered machines making their domestic debuts for the first time ever. The SY19E mini excavator impressed attendees with its precise movements, exceptional engineering and incredibly quiet functioning. It even had some time to demonstrate its putt-putt golfing skills. The SY19E, along with the SW956E electric loader, showed off all the fully loaded SANY features you know and love, with the power of any fossil-fueled machine. SANY also showed off its new energy management platform, able to track SANY’s corporate carbon footprint and recommend energy consumption optimizations. It just goes to show that while we focus on giving the customer what they want and need, we still have an eye to the future.
